Rick Randlett, ComposerRichard K Randlett holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Keene State College, where he studied composition with well regarded composer Hubert C Bird. Rick also did graduate work in theory and composition at the University of Massachusetts.
For the past twenty years Rick has taught music privately and performed and recorded as a Blues Rock artist. He has released five CDs of all original songs.
Rick’s larger scale compositions tend to be minimalistic, neo impressionist works that are always designed to evoke emotions.
Of his latest album, Rick says,”‘Evening On The Esplanade’ is an attempt to capture the ambience of dining outdoors at a cafe on a beautiful evening, watching people pass by, and listening to music. It has a second meaning for me, since when I lived in New Orleans in the ’90’s I lived on Esplanade Ave.”
