Joanne “accidentally” released her debut New-Age solo Native American flute album “Under the Stars” in 2015, and was nominated for a Zone Music Reporter (ZMR), Best Instrumental Acoustic award.
As a classically trained orchestral flutist, Joanne has played all over the United States, including Los Angeles (Disney Hall), New York, Chicago (Symphony Center), and around the world: Australia, Belgium, Chile, France, Germany, Italy, Monaco, and the Netherlands.
She’s shared the stage with artists as varied as CeCe Winans, James Galway, Billy Childs,
and Serj Tankian, and once played for the Prince of Monaco. She performed with the Hour of Power Orchestra (broadcast worldwide) from 1999-2001.
In 2018, she started her own record label – JoRazzal Music, to produce and release her first classical-world crossover album: “Canyon Shadows for Native Flute, C-flute, and Percussion” by New York composer Katherine Hoover.
Her 2019 foray into remote recording with the St. Petersburg Symphony (Russia) resulted in the orchestral classical single A Dark Goddess for flute and strings by David W. Solomons.
Her second world-premiere album in the genre-bending “classical crossover” category, “Suite Esmerelda for Flute and Piano” by Eric V. Baum is her first release on vinyl.

Currently the Principal Flute for the Beach Cities Symphony Orchestra, Joanne also performs on both flute and piccolo with several other Southern California orchestras and chamber ensembles.
She enjoys studio recording sessions and collaborating on demos and soundtracks for independent film composers.
An official member of The Indie Collaborative, she performs in artist music showcases – not only her original songs, but also as a versatile “stand-in” for other famous “world” flute artists, playing everything from Indian bansuri to Native American flute.
A sought-after flute workshop clinician, she maintains a private teaching studio in Los Angeles for students interested in both classical & numerous types of world flutes.
