Javier Márquez
Javier Márquez is a musician born in Córdoba, Spain. He has been influenced by different styles such as classical music, New Age, folk, World Music and certain types of fusion. He composes, arranges and produces his own pieces of music and participates in the recordings of other musicians.
Javier is a voting member at NARAS and LARAS. His album, “The Shelter Point” was the winner in the Hollywood Music in Media Awards in New Age/Ambient category in 2021. As well, “The Shelter Point” was a double Silver Medal award-winner in the Global Music Awards 2022. in the Best New Age and Album categories.
He has recorded for Season 5 of “Money Heist” / “La Casa de Papel (Soundtrack
de la serie de Netflix)” and recently for “Zorro” (Prime Video) by Iván M.
Lacámara and “BSO Ocho Apellidos Marroquís” by Vanessa Garde.
Javier has participated as featured artist in the recording of track. “Sirdes Mouté u
Tapour,” from the last album “Ara” by the prestigious violinist Ara Malikian. As well, he has played several gigs on Eliseo Parra’s last tour 2023 and he has recorded
duduk in “Diacrónico.” He produced and recorded the latest albums of Luis Medina and Pipo Romero.
He participated in the recording of Pavel Urkiza’s, “La ruta de las almas” project
and part as a component “La ruta de las almas” Band. This was presented in
EXIB music in Bilbao in 2014, and at the Global Cuban Fest in Miami (USA) in 2016.
Javier also collaborated in the recording of the soundtracks by the composer Pablo
Cervantes for the film “Jaulas,” “El Prenauta,” and “Promesas de arena” (Amazon
Prime Video).
